Amazingly enough, Maria has kept Majestic View Bed and Breakfast very busy in past years with very minimal advertising – but there is only so much time, and only so much Maria can do. When Maria and I married, it became our goal to expand our services, and become as close to “100% full ” as possible during the busy season, while lengthening our season on both the spring and fall ends. As a result of our plans, I (Tim) have been working closely with Acorn Internet Services (a website developer that specializes in sites for the hospitality industry – and especially B & B) – to build a new website. I’ve been writing text, gathering photos, and communicating regularly with the Acorn team about all the details – for several months now! We are excited to say that we have incorporated into the site so many beautiful and interesting things that will help orientate new guests to Homer, and all they can do here, as well as update our “old friends and regulars”, who check in regularly, as to what is going on. Included in the new site are two photo galleries with amazing photos taken by Maria, Tim, and many of our guest who have gone on adventures with Tim. One of our guests had a drone, and took some really cool arial video footage – which will be incorporated into our new promotional video – shot and produced by a short film director from Homer (Brian). There are photos and descriptions of each and every one of our seven units, written directions to our place, google maps, links to area attractions and tourism sources, areas to buy from a gift shop, order gift certificates for a friend or loved one, and of course – book the adventure of your dreams with Tim while you stay at Majestic View. The website is linked with our reservations system, as well as all of the social media options. The new site is “state of the art” for us – with a page for every subject, and the ability for us to edit and add photos, text, video, and more pages as we grow.
