Cabin

Enjoy some added privacy in either the Salmon Suite or the Halibut House – both studio kitchenettes. Since they are just a few steps away from the main house, you can still come over any time to socialize and enjoy breakfast.

The Halibut House

Shows studio with kitchen table, fruit, brown couch, two beds, desk, and sliding glass door leading to the deck.$190/night plus tax. Stay six nights, and get your seventh night free!

This studio apartment and kitchenette is popular for its privacy and convenience. Park within mere steps of your kitchen, bed, and deck. Grill your fresh catch from your day of fishing, while you enjoy a cold beverage and watch one of our gorgeous panoramic views. You’ll see why we are spoiled by living here!

The Halibut House is the “other half” of the cabin, which is just a few steps away from the main house. It is a self-contained studio apartment/kitchenette, and has all you need to be independent if you wish – but for the best breakfast in Homer and some good company, come on over to the main house in the morning. The Halibut House has a sliding glass door that leads to a large shared deck facing Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains, and the Homer Spit. The view is outstanding! The Halibut House has a queen-size bed, a twin bed, a hideaway bed, private bathroom and entry, satellite TV, DVD, and Wi-Fi.

Maria and Tim are so friendly and accommodating. Maria is a wealth of knowledge on Homer, and all things and places to experience. We spent a couple of days exploring the area with Tim. We caught delicious Red Salmon with Tim on the Kenai River. Kachemak Bay was ripe with opportunity: Humpback Whales, Sea Otters, and Harbor Seals were amazing. Wading up Humpy Creek among the wild spawning salmon made memories for my father and I that will not be forgotten. I can’t wait to come back next year with my wife and children.

When I think of bed and breakfast, I think “continental-type breakfast”, but oh no, not here! Fantastic full breakfasts were prepared each morning with everything you could possibly imagine. Maria had other guests with restrictive diets, and she made sure their needs were met. Thank you Maria for showing the best of Homer to us, and our friends. We will be back!”
